Masaru Tamura

Career

Born in Tokyo in 1972. Aspiring to be a restaurant service worker, he joined Mikasa Kaikan, a long-established restaurant in Ginza.

He is the manager of the company's Italian restaurant in Nishi Ginza and Continental restaurant in Hiroo.

After that, in order to learn service techniques of French cuisine, he joined the French restaurant Mona Lisa Ebisu main branch, run by owner and chef Kono, who received one Michelin star. He serves as maître d'hotel and sommelier at the same restaurant.

May 30, 2009 Opened wine bar Cave de TAMURA in Mitaka.

2011 Obtained Senior Sommelier certification from Japan Sommelier Association
